Energy-saving situation: Compared with old thyristor medium frequency, thyristor medium frequency heating consumes about 470 kWh per ton of workpiece. The new medium frequency consumes about 350 kWh. Saving over 100 kWh per ton heated. Just heating about 500 tons can recover the equipment cost from the electricity savings.

Circuit characteristics: Main components use IGBT modules, the circuit uses uncontrolled full-bridge rectification, capacitor filtering, bridge inversion, and series resonance output. Fundamentally different from the old medium frequency that used thyristor parallel resonance.
